Counselling Room_edited_edited.jpg

Coming to counselling can be a nerve racking experience, especially if you do not know what to expect. Our first session will be a chance for us to meet, answer any questions you have about the process, discuss what it is that you would like to get out counselling, and to get to know each other a little. We will take things at your pace as it is important for you to feel comfortable before opening up. We can then book in further sessions or you can go away and have a think about it.

How Do I Book?

To make a booking, please send your enquiry via the Get In Touch button below or email CorinneRichards@protonmail.com.

It would be helpful for me to know a brief outline of your reason for counselling and whether you would prefer in person or online sessions. I will reply to every enquiry and I aim to do this within one week. Please check your junk folder if you have not heard back from me.

Sessions

You will be offered a weekly session at a regular day and time on an ongoing basis. This regularity helps the process as it keeps the momentum flowing. Having no limit to the number of sessions enables you to continue until you feel ready to end. Some people find a few sessions is enough, and some prefer a longer term arrangement; this is unique to you and your situation, so will be your choice.

The session fee is £50. I work part-time hours Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday daytimes.

Sessions are held at a discreet counselling office on Willow Lane, near St Giles. Please see the contacts page for a map. Online sessions may be available, please contact me to discuss this.
