Welcome
We all hold within us the potential to thrive, my aim is to support you in achieving this so you can live a happier and more fulfilling life going forwards, whatever you have faced in the past.

Connecting with our emotions can help us better understand, process, and heal from the challenges in life that negatively impact our wellbeing. Too often we try to (or feel we should) do this alone, leaving us isolated in our suffering.
In our sessions, we will gently and compassionately explore your situation together in a supportive environment, empowering you to make the changes in life that you wish to make.

Therapeutic Philosophy

Counselling offers a space to be heard, reflect, and grow. Integrative Psychotherapeutic Counselling facilitates this by drawing on a number of traditional and contemporary theories to address your individual needs. I include humanistic, psychodynamic, behavioural, and embodied approaches as each have something to offer our wide range of human experience.

This is an approach that is well-suited for individuals looking for mid to long-term support with depression, anxiety, and trauma as we can take the time to move at a pace that feels right for you, building a therapeutic relationship that is safe.

Believing in working to high ethical standards, along with maintaining accreditation with the UKCP, I also hold an enhanced DBS certificate and attend regular clinical supervision and training.

About Me

Coming from a background in domiciliary care, I trained at Matrix (BScHons) and have now held UKCP accreditation for a number of years. Alongside private practice I have also volunteered and worked for a cancer support charity that is close to my heart.
I was drawn to becoming a counsellor after experiencing first-hand how helpful counselling can be.
I learnt that I don’t have to face the challenges of life alone, and I believe you don’t have to either.
